Honey Soy Salmon Skewers

Ingredients

  • 600g Huon Salmon, skin off, cut into chunkc
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • spring onions, sliced, to serve
  • toasted sesame seeds, to serve

Method

    Combine the salmon, honey, soy sauce, oyster sauce, garlic, ginger, and oil in a large bowl. Cover and place in the fridge for 15 – 30 minutes.

    Remove the salmon from the marinade and thread it evenly onto pre-soaked bamboo skewers.

    Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat with 1 tbsp. olive oil. Cook half the skewers, turning occasionally, for 5 mins or until cooked through. Transfer to a plate. Repeat with the remaining skewers.

    Place the skewers on a serving plate. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and spring onions.

    Air fryer instruction: Cook the skewers for 10 minutes at 200C or until golden.
